Dropin Drama character study part 24. Names aren't their real ones.
Samantha-- dresses like a Soviet Babushka. Not out of practicality-- it isnt practical here at this time of the year to dress like that. Probly out of style or lack of other clothes.
Estelle-- got a place so no longer has to stay here but her place has rats. At least there are no infestations here. I wonder if she wants to come back here.
Colette-- older lady with a sense of humor a la "Quit offering me your soul; you know I have no extra."
Lexie--Friend of girl who stood up for her. Did not stand up for her friend whom the staff were about to throw out for standing up for her.

Martina-- spilled coffee or tea on the floor n it was sticky cuz of the sugar in it n others... In the dark at night... thought it was piss. Others even tried to tell her it was HER that pissed there. I dont know how she kept her cool while explaining. Others probly had jumping to the nastiest conclusion possible as their way of surviving.
Calliope and Maisie-- two women helping the janitor clean the main room. Must be desperate for money cuz I think their job is just one hour a week n pays 15 an hour.
Adeline-- Chinese lady never tired of learning n speaking n communicating n teaching n sharing info about business, education, opportunities, connections, social services, and skills

Cleo-- lady people were looking at as tho she shit her pants even tho the wierd smells were not coming from her but were actually coming from the staff laundry baskets the blankets one woman's dogs had done some stuff on were in
Opal-- lady breaking down cuz it is her first time being homeless n it is embarrassing for her
Amity-- had an interesting rapport with one of the extreme schiz women to the point they were chatting quite coherently n Amity was braiding the schiz woman's hair
Sorvig-- fat lady who snapped at Persecution Complex Prunella to leave her alone. She wasnt gonna let PCP succeed in starting a rumor that it was Sorvig who wouldn't leave PCP alone. PCP was trying to say Sorvig was like a child trying to get PCP's attention. Most of us dont want her attention tho she sometimes claims we are trying to get it. It is her that wants attention.
Paulita-- territorial lady who felt entitled to sleep in "her" spot all the time she slept here. But maybe that was all she could control in her life so I can't judge.

China-- lady who is in a good mood even when others aren't n part of it is that like me, she doesn't mind noise. Sometimes because of that it it she n I that sleep by the noisy air purifier.
Sarai-- sensible black lady who normally kept to herself but found a white Romanian's assertion that I was racist cuz my husband was white as wierd as I found it
Vilante-- lady who refused to leave when the cleaner cleaned because last time she left while the cleaner was cleaning, her clothes were apparently stolen out of her bin. Staff gave her a hard time about her not leaving tho she was always sitting or standing out of the cleaner's way and others were also standing around n the staff didnt bother them. Staff then gave her a hard time after about itbn then accused HER of giving THEM a hard time about it n talked about "taking her out the back door n showing her who's boss." A possible reference to how they handled the Licey Landlord, Daphne.
Jackie-- older lady concerned about her meds getting stolen even if she kept them on her person

Larissa-- speaking literal gibberish but trying to convey something. I think she thought she was speaking English but was on something.
Zofia-- had some covid-like symptoms n staff told her off for not wearing a mask tho she had been trying for a while to ask them for a mask n they were always busy
Asia-- was sleeping on the floor. A staff member told her she knew she was sleeping as opposed to praying n told her she had to get up. But she mighta actually been praying or have fallen asleep while praying or might have just been sleeping n not trying to pretend she was praying at all.
Tillie-- older woman advising people to keep most of their life to themself. But then how do we get to know each other?
Fantasia-- lady arguing with staff saying she knew they could afford a dishwasher n a big sink in the dining room n more but that the staff were hust getting it all in salaries. Staff tried to explain to her that the board doles out money when they see the clients are taking good enough care of stuff not to break it like they often do the coffee dispenser. Fantasia was having none of it n kept on about this place being a scam n whatever. She could be right about that but wasnt right about the dishwasher shit. For the record we eat off disposable dishes here n with disposable utensils so it is not a health hazard for us to have no dishwasher at least not one in the dining room for people's personal dishes they bring themselves.
Eunice-- of a rare breed that tries to convince the staff she has lice when she seemingly doesn't. Usually here it's the other way around.

Nadia--Chinese lady self consciously pacing and wondering where to stand or sit after Persecution Complex Prunella tries to set her up as Prunella's bully by insisting Nadia bumped into/walked in front of her on purpose to "be an idiot and an asshole" and said "no you're not sorry, you did it on purpose" and actually went out of her own way to go over to Nadia after to accuse her again of doing that on purpose to be an asshole and then PCP was insisiting to other people that Nadia did it on purpose and sickeningly, the so-called sensible nerd table PCP is friends with were humoring PCP and saying that yes they "knew Nadia did it on purpose"
Peyton and Renie-- walked into the shower together. Walked out together 2 minutes later and a staff member saw them n asked wtf. If it was a drug deal it is not allowed in here.
Inez-- not sure if I mentioned her before under another name but she's a nice British lady (not one of the persnickety bitchy entitled insitgatey British ladies) and always wears camouflage
Ruhangiz-- just stood in the semi-middle-of-the-room doing nothing and saying nothing and just kinda watching everything/everyone in the vicinity for half an hour or maybe more or maybe less but I think more. Finally said "I'm walking away" and then did so.
Cudjoe-- was yelling at people to fuck off. Decided she wasn't loud of pained enough so she shouted it again, quite unnecessarily, in a more loud and pained voice this time
Magdalena-- pleasant woman driving a scooter. I hope she knows she can be rude n doesn't hafta be extra polite n nice unless she wants to. She shouldn't have to apologize for her scooter taking up space because she is disabled n needs it to get around.
Bernadette-- quiet old Chinese lady who says nothing, just smiles. Probly one of the smart people here.
Glodine-- leaves phone plugged in on her bin n walks away, then panics when I move her bin n put her phone on the table cuz I need to access my bin underneath hers. But I am pleasantly surprised she never got unpleasant.
Treema-- butch lady except for her very feminine clothes
Havah--Lady singing very well, better when in certain moods n a bit rough when in other moods
Linny-- Chinese lady gesticulating enthusiastically while speaking loudly n happily in Mandarin or Cantonese
Eartha-- Girl talking to a guy outside about how much of a rat he is and trying to be one of the guys despite being a woman, because it is safer kinda
Georgia-- says "Don't touch my stuff" but you're not even sitting or standing or walking by her stuff
Dropin Drama character study part 30, Sunday edition so probl longer cuz I have more time to kill
Candice-- lady in really stylish clothes standing in this really stylish pose like in a magazine. Possibly the only thing she can control right now.
Merciana-- lady who was talking too loud for Persecution Complex Prunella's liking and staff defended Merciana to Prunella by saying it's daytime so she can talk, laugh, cry, yell, pray, hallucinate, or whatever all she wants
Titiana-- gentle giant exposing her vulnerability and that she has needs too by asking people to inform her of stuff and being really nice
Vanessa-- cheerful Chinese lady (why are nearly all the Chinese here cheerful?) chirping on the phone across from me. One of my role models!
Haya-- kept unplugging a certain charger from the wall whenever another woman, Lovisa, kept plugging it back in
Lovisa-- the woman whose charger it was, who got angry understandably, then started screeching at Haya for keeping on unplugging her charger the moment Lovisa plugged it back in, despite there being other places available at the time to plug stuff in
Tammilynn-- got thrown out. Begged the staff to let her at least go back in to get her debit card and phone. But then even after the staff said she could. she kept ranting about how dare anyone let her walk around all day without any means to buy food
Dropin Drama character study part 31. All names are changed.
Kami-- lady standing at kitchen door at first begging for n then demanding something unessential. Staff got mad at her for it n ordered her away from the kitchen door. A few other clients were on staff's side n others were on her side being really nicey-pie to her suggesting she keep asking and keep pushing for that extra dessert or whatever it was... I forget, but it was something unessential.
Argentina-- lady who stares
Isa-- lady who got angry when she couldn't go out for a smoke cuz the place was locked down that night the lady from the other shelter came here and tried to kill a lady from this one. To be fair, the staff shoulda probly designated some small room somewhere as a temporary smoking/using/drinking room, since no one was allowed out or in all night and smoking, drinking n using in the building are banned.
Bleta-- not sure if she is someone I already mentioned under a different name, but she was crying and shouting "Help!" a lot the other night but couldn't seem to articulate why she needed help and the staff wondered if they should send her to the hospital.
Pippa and Evangelista-- two women who look like Persecution Complex Prunella in terms of height, color, weight, shape, dress and hairstyle. PCP assumed they were kindred spirits and tried to tell them the lowdown about how evil n horrible I am (not true... she did not like me for calling her out for bullying others tho n for getting away with it cuz she doesn't raise her voice, since it is the loudest one that gets kicked out rather than the starter of the fight or the actual bully)
Dropin Drama character study part 32. Names are all changed.
Sandra-- accused of uttering a racial slur towards staff who were trying to kick her out, but I didn't hear anything. They then just started yelling at her to get out right then because she supposedly uttered a racial slur against one or more of them.
Kerri-- the lady who stole the other lady's phone and hid it in her underwear while maligning the other lady calling her a liar and a false accuser
Vivian--Girl who supposedly pretended to not speak English but supposedly could still tell another woman in English to fuck off
Faith-- Lady going out of her way to look bohemian and hippie despite real hippies not being so uptight about dressing and just letting it flow
